"I have never lived close enough to T-town where I could go to more than 1 or 2 games a year".

When you do live close and you do attend ALL the home games every year, sometimes things come up like weddings, funerals, out of state births in the family, out of state sicknesses that you need to see to, business trips, wife is sick, you are sick, personal problems at home need attending to. All the above are reasons why people that buy tickets intending to go, sometimes don't. The more chances you have to go, the less of an "emergency" it takes to keep you from going because you'll have plenty more to see in person later. It's called priorities. Seeing Bama play once a year, every other year makes the game a higher priority than if you get to see them play 6-7 times a year, every year.
