Games played from now on will almost certainly be available on DVD as well as VHS. In fact, I am waiting on a phone-call back from someone who might make that very easy to set up and distribute.

As far as old games, the current plan is to convert the "big games" from the past - to that end, the 2001 AU and 1992/3 Sugar Bowl have already been done. However, there are a couple of things with the current level of technology that preclude converting every game we have. The first is that the older tapes are just not good enough to allow capturing on computer. We took a copy of the 78/79 Sugar Bowl that is about as good as it gets but the reduced quality of TV broadcasts then made it impossible. Also, the time associated with the conversion [and the fact that the people doing it have other things going on! :)] mean that it is unlikely we will bother to convert games that only a few people have requested even in VHS format. However, as the technology improves, these factors will surely become easier to overcome.
