Simon, hi. I've got a DVD recorder and want to transfer some of my old game tapes from VHS onto a DVD disk. I was in a Best-Buy store recently and they had a device that claimed it would upgrade the signal coming from the tape and thus produce a better quality picture on the DVD. This item wasn't exactly inexpensive, so before purchasing it, I just wondered if you had used it or have known of anyone that has used it. I'm just curious if it would really be worth the expenditure and if it really does what it claims it does. Thanks in advance, Michael. RTR
