Marlon told us that he plans to attend Middle Georgia J.C. for one year and re-sign with Alabama next year.

Some have compared Marlon to current Tide TE Rod Rutledge. He reminds others of former Tide DE Eric Curry. Marlon is big, strong, has great speed, and is very athletic. Evidence of his athleticism is the fact he averaged 20 ppg and 10 rebounds in basketball.

As a junior, Marlon caught 10 passes for 200 yards. This past season, Marlon says he hauled in 10 more passes with 7 going for TDs!

He describes himself as an all-around player. "I can play on either offense or defense. [As a TE] I'm a good blocker and can catch the ball. Speed and quickness are what makes me a good player on defense." Marlon says he expects to play TE at Alabama.

Most people list Marlon as running a 4.7, but he says that he's been timed at 4.5. One thing's for sure, he can definitely run.

As a senior, Marlon was All-State and received All-American mention.
