A NOTE OF THANKS

For many years I'd thought about starting a service such as Tider Insider. To be honest though, I never thought it was possible. I didn't know how to get started.

Then last August my brother Dalton introduced me to the Internet. He told me that on the Internet I could start a service that would instantly reach Alabama fans everywhere. I was a little skeptical at first because I knew absolutely nothing about computers. But when he offered to help me get started I felt it was worth a try.

Our first day on the Internet was October 27. That morning my old friend Scott Griffin and his sidekick Matt Coulter of WJOX radio station allowed me to come on their sports talk show to introduce Tider Insider. A few days later Lee Davis, the producer of Herb Winches afternoon show on WJOX, invited me to come on with Herb and Ben Cook.

Each Saturday morning during recruiting I was a guest of John Longshore and Doug Amos on their statewide talk show, Prep Sports Weekly.

Why am I mentioning this? Because it's important to me that everyone know how much I appreciate the help those guys have given me. They've helped me spread the word about Tider Insider and they’ve given me the opportunity to do what I enjoy so much -- talk recruiting with fans.

There are no fans like Alabama's -- you're the greatest. I feel sorry for people who are not Alabama fans because they will never know what it's like to be a fan of the greatest program in college football history!

Before I stop rambling, I want to say a very special thanks to my brother Dalton. As much work and effort as I've put into Tider Insider, it’s nothing compared to what he has done. Believe me, if it weren't for him there would not be a Tider Insider -- at least not on the Internet.

And if it weren't for each of you there wouldn't be a Tider Insider period. Thanks so much for all of your support.
