The 6-2, 192-pound Ryan is undoubtedly the top athlete in the state of Alabama this season.
Ryan has sprinter's speed, great hands and excellent vision. He could end as a wide receiver, running back or defensive back. He's also an outstanding punt and kickoff return man.
Over the past two seasons he totaled over 3,500 yards of offense and scored 32 touchdowns. This season he rushed for 1,300 yards, averaging over 10 yards a carry. He was selected All-State and All-West Alabama.
He chose Alabama over LSU and Mississippi State.
"I've always wanted to play for Alabama," Ryan says. "It's close to home. That makes it easy for my mother to come see me play."
