The best way to describe William Cuthbert is
... enormous. Fortunately for the Tide, his potential as a player is as
great as his size -- 6'6, 325.
Sources in Florida tell us that William finally began to realize his potential this season. The turning point of William's career may have been a head to head match-up this season with the highly acclaimed Ronald Boldin (FSU signee) of Pahokee. "I realized during that game that I'm just as good as all those guys who are getting on the the cover of magazines," William told us. "I felt like I handled him pretty good. It gave me confidence that I can play with anyone." By season's end William's stock had risen from a solid prospect to one of the top four OL prospects in Florida. Many feel that William will prove to be the top OL coming out of Florida. He graded over 85% as a blocker in HS. He's strong, agile and has quick feet. He thrives on dominating the point of attack. "I love to run block," he says. "I'm a drive blocker." William told us that he bench presses over 400 lbs. and squats 525 lbs. He runs a 5.3 40. |
